30 events in 30 locations to celebrate NILE's 30th birthday!

In 1995, Dave and Eleanor Allan founded Norwich Institute for Language Education and this year we celebrate our thirtieth anniversary! NILE is in robust good health and our intention is to hold (at least!) thirty events around the world with NILE colleagues and alumni to mark the occasion.
We’re off to a good start, with events planned over the next four months in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Northern Cyprus, Egypt, Georgia, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, Uzbekistan – and Liverpool and Norwich! Later in the year, there’ll be 30@30 events in the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain (again!), Sri Lanka, Switzerland (again!), Türkiye and Vietnam - plus Cambridge and London here in the UK. I make that 28 events so far: we need two volunteers …
What kind of events? So far, we’ve got a human library, a city tour, an embassy breakfast, several conferences and workshops, a tea party and a number of events that will reunite the alumni from NILE online and face-to-face events. We’re hoping that Norwich will be present at each 30@30 event, sometimes physically, more often virtually.
With such a variety of events and locations we hope you'll find an event near you to enjoy!
Celebrate with us and make some new contacts along the way.
Most importantly, join us as the most important part of NILE - you, the participants.
All welcome!
