Nelson ArdittoNILE Consultant Trainer

Nelson Arditto is a teacher and teacher educator based in Spain. He has worked in ELT since 1997 in the UK, Spain, Syria, the UAE, Ukraine, Jordan and China. He worked as Course Director and tutor on Trinity teacher training courses (CertTESOL, DipTESOL and TYLEC) from 2010 to 2018 and is now a DELTA tutor at NILE for Modules 1, 2 and 3.

He has e-moderated online teacher training courses for the British Council and worked with primary and secondary teachers from around the world for over 10 years. He has moderated CLIL courses with teachers in Spain, Chile and Germany and is a British Council CLIL trainer for the Valencian Ministry of Education. He is also a trainer on the British Council Assured Certificate for Teacher Educators course (ACTE), an assessor for the Trinity CertPT qualification, a NILE Online tutor, an educational consultant and an instructional designer writing and developing resources and online development courses for teachers.

He holds a CELTA, DELTA, CELTYL, E-moderator Essentials certificate and NILE Trainer Development certificates, as well as an MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL and a Professional Diploma in Digital Learning. He is currently a student on the Doctorate in Education programme at Bath University. His current special interests include instructional design, video production and teacher and trainer learning. He is a regular speaker at the IATEFL conference and British Council Teaching English webinars.
