Alastair Douglas

Alastair Douglas lives in the countryside near Cambridge. He started English language teaching in 1997 and has taught in the UK, Japan and Indonesia. He became a teacher trainer in 2003 and has delivered a range of training courses in the UK and many countries around the world.

He is a Senior Lecturer and teacher trainer at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, where he is course leader on the MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL programme. He is also a freelance Tutor on all three DELTA modules. He is an Assessor for CELTA, an External Examiner for DELTA module 2 and a marker on module 3. He has an MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from Kings College London and a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Research. He is a regular speaker at conferences such as IATEFL.
