The Erica Dirou Scholarship
In memory of our outstanding alumna, Erica Dirou, NILE and University of Chichester are proud to announce a full scholarship on the NILE Masters in Professional Development for Language Education (MAPDLE), validated by University of Chichester, to be awarded each calendar year to an English Language Teacher or Teacher Trainer working in Egypt.

In the NILE Insights into Digital Technologies for Language Learning panel discussion in August 2020, we began to become aware of the scale and spread of instances of Hybrid Learning – teachers working with learners who are in the physical classroom and other learners who are online at the same time – in language teaching organisations.

NILE signs partnership agreement with ESE Malta
Thom Kiddle and Sean LeGault, CEO of ESE Malta, met for a virtual signing ceremony on December 3rd to establish the new NILE at ESE Malta partnership for the co-delivery of NILE’s teacher development courses at ESE in St. Julian’s, Malta starting in 2021.
